Saphir Beauté Du Cuir Renomat
The Saphir renomat stain remover gets rid of stains on smooth leather without damaging it.
The Saphir renomat stain remover is extremely effective in removing stains from smooth leather without damaging or discolouring it. This stain remover eliminates all stubborn stains that persist even after a full leather care treatment and is suitable for grease stains, old shoe polish stains or scratch marks from shoe soles. It is also useful for the gentle removal of polish paste. The product combines a white nourishing leather cleaner and a light, transparent stain remover for non-abrasive leather cleaning. As such, the bottle should be shaken vigorously to mix these two substances together before use.
You can apply this product on an occasional basis to very specific areas of the leather to remove any stains. Always shake the bottle vigorously before use to mix the two solutions together and make sure to use this stain remover in a well-ventilated area and with gloves on. Test the Saphir renomat stain remover beforehand on a hidden area of the shoe to ensure that it does not overly lighten the leather and wait 15 minutes for true results. After applying the stain remover, use a shoe cream to nourish and recolour the shoe.
Store your Saphir renomat stain remover in a cool place, away from light to ensure a long shelf life.
Renomat or Saddle soap?
The main difference between these two is that Renomat is great to strip your shoes from old and/or synthetic shoe polish. This cleaner contains just enough solvents to remove shoe polish without affecting the dye in the leather. Renomat is also a great stain remover and can be used on very specific points on the shoes. Saddle soap is a more gentle option compared to the Renomat, and is as the name already reveals a soap so you need to use this product with water. Saddle soap is great for when you want to scrub and wash an entire shoe that collected a lot of dirt.
